Office/Studio Building  Fall 2017 / School Year 2

Project completed during my second year of school. Consists of three major types of programming, consisting of gallery/showroom space, office, and studio space. The project was designed to allow for an artist or designer studio to be able to create, showcase, and sell their art and designs within the same building. The overall building design concept focused on a large structural wall that framed building programs and supported cantilevered spaces.

Office/Theatre Building  Fall 2018 / School Year 3

This was designed to incorporate retail, public space, and offices within one limited site, which contains an historic building which remained standing after the Atlanta Fires of 1917. This red brick painting was incorporated within the new project by bracing the thin brick walls and recreating the floor with concrete. The building would now contain a set of new offices, which extends in a U-Shape to create to meet the additional office and theatre space. The shape of the descending theatre steps is then mirrored above with a stramp system that leads to a restaurant and bar area.

Office/Retail Building  Spring 2019 / School Year 3

This office building is located directly on Edgewood and the ATL Beltline trail, with entrances on two separate elevations. On the lower Beltline elevation, retail spaces as well as a small theatre can be found, while at the upper levels the major office programming and R&D area can be found. The western edge of the site rethinks what opportunity retaining walls could bring to a project, creating a 5 story tall water wall and light well that lights up an otherwise dark building corner.

Residential/Retail Building  Spring 2019 / School Year 4

This apartment building is conceptualized as a modular housing unit structure, with each housing unit taking working as a plug-in housing atop a shelving structure. Each unit is designed for specific number of occupants as well as the allow possibility for small retail programs as well.

Wall Testing Chamber  Fall 2020 / School Year 5

Testing chamber drawing designed to test a wall sections ability to regulate temperature, humidity, and other external forces. Electronic testing devices would be placed inside the chamber with while the testing wall is fastened to the front of the device.
